Here I am again with some good, and some sad news.

To start off, I want to say that we lost some good regulars.
Spary went to Pentia, and Miss Blu3y went to IsF.

I want to thank them both for their dedication and teamwork during their short time in IDK, and I wish them the best of luck in their new clans.

Sadly, IDK² folded due to one of its members demotivating the team.
I still hope to get a 2nd IDK team in the future, especially as we are well known in the community. If you have any friends who are thinking of starting a team, they are more than welcome to speak to me.


Now I can finally start on the positive news.
We spent the last 3 months looking for a medic, and we ended up trialing many more than we first expected.
We switched Kosta from Medic to Demoman, as we thought he wasn't playing to his full potential in that role.
He has since surprised us all with his Demo skills as we weren't expecting him to do so well WP there Kosta.

We have recruited the following new members:

Hofven (As scout)
robben (As scout)
Bryn (As Pocket Soldier)
fainT (As main Medic)
Volkmar (As back-up Medic)

Volkmar is well-known in the IDK community, as he played for the IDK² squad until they folded. He formed Basic (with Bryn), which is how he recommended Bryn to us, and one of the reasons we decided to take him into our community.
After a long search from Volkmar, he trialed for IDK. We could all see the improvement he went through, and he still wanted to be a part of IDK. He has joined us as a back-up Medic.

After a long 3 months we finally found our medic in Faint. A lovely guy who will fit right in IDK.

robben is a crazy german who was looking for the right team, and ended up trialing for IDK. With his experience we can go far.
Hofven is a weird guy. Wanted a trial at first, then he decided to play for another clan. But one day he pmed me for another trial. He played for us and saw firsthand why IDK has a good name in the community. He was really pleased to join IDK.

I WANT TO WISH ALL OF YOU GUYS THE BEST LUCK IN IDK!!!!

This means that I will be taking a small step back.
Everyone can see that we recruited the right guys with good reputations among the community.
I promised everyone that IDK will get back on its feet, as I did so many times back in TFC. Every clan has their problems. A lot of clans fold during these times, but not IDK.
This will prove we are a damn good and strong community, and I hope to keep the people who are in the clan. I hope they are willing to stay with us for a long time, even if you get the chance to play in a higher skilled clan. What's more important? Skill or having fun with the right people.

I hope that we get where we want to be, and I bet we will get there with the right attitude.

I hope to see a lot of awards in the future on our website/ETF2L/Steam.
I think I've mentioned everything now.
And I hope I wont let you guys down by taking a small step back, as I want to spend more time with my little girl etc.

DIEHARD has been promoted, and is now our new second squad leader. He will be leading alongside me. So in case of any problems or anything else, please feel free to get in touch with him now as well. I think this is a great move for the team as he can really push us to improve more.

DIEHARD is now playing Demoman.

These changes mean that we are looking for a new main pocket soldier. We’re looking for someone with a top Division 4+ skill level who can cope with our high activity. Firstly I want to announce that we won WPTF2L and ETF2L.
From the start of both leagues we had some issues with members, but after 1 game in each league we had our guys sorted out.

In WPTF2L we had a perfect score, won everything, and didn't gave away any draws or wins to the opponents.
We became

in our Division and had the most points of the whole league. And yes, even more than the
Division 1 teams.
This was a great achievement for us.

In ETF2L we also became

. Although we gave two maps away, we still left a huge gap between us and the second spot, blazing the trail by 7 points.
We recognised our weaknesses, and noticed we really need to work on cp_gravelpit, as I think it's one of our worst
maps ever.
So we are heading up to Division 4, but when I look at the latest results, we need to try to get in Divison 3.

Good job in both leagues! Those achievements have been added to our awards page!

Also on the bright side is that =[IDK²]= has lately been performing very good aswell. We have a strong there
aswell with lots of potential. Kryzen is doing his job very good there, and I'm proud that we found such
a dedicated group in the community of =[IDK]=.
Keep it up mates...

Unfortunatelly we have to step away from the light, as I have to announce that we have lost two of our members from the =[IDK]= squad.
After being in =[IDK]= a grand total of one year, DouGie decided to step down from playing competitively (As he doesn't know what he is going to do).
He kept =[IDK]= going strong in the time my little girl was born. He was very dedicated to =[IDK]=, and it resulted
in great league wins, those victories are for you DouGie...

Sadly I did not save the best news for last, Spary has departed from =[IDK]=. I had a very good
conversation with Spary, and we both understand what we meant to each other. But never the less still it's a big
loss for =[IDK]= to lose both of their most valued members. They placed the bunch in the right places and opened
their eyes to what's possible! Thanks for helping out there mates...


I want to wish both all the best and what they really deserve, and I hope to meet them again.

Last night I saw we welcomed Traxantic to the squad. A terrific signing for us, a very experienced soldier that can definitley help us in our goal to div3 next season. Welcome m8. Our lineup now looks like the following -

Also, we can see that =[IDK]= now have an =[IDK²]= squad. This is really great news for IDK in general, and it shows just how strong a little community we are. I wish Digiwill and Sannibal all the best in setting up =[IDK²]= . woooo

Also on a side note regarding officials, the two teams that remain in ETF2L for us to face are being a bit gay, and its going to be Monday 29th at the earliest before we can play any of them I'll try my best to get us a pcw organised for Sunday, keep an eye on the fixtures page guys.

It's been a crazy last couple of weeks, and if we look back to the start of the Wireplay league, we can see a vast improvement in our squad, different personal in the team, and we can feel happy we put in such a strong performance.

Our first game of the season was a quite easy 10-0 win for us, but looking at the line-up from that game (DouGie,fRdz,lolage,lieu,petu,nothim) we can see its a very different story at the end of the season, with people having to deal with RL issues etc, our main lineup now consists of;

Spary - fRdz - Miss blu3y - kuma - Kosta - ?

Obviously this is a very talented lineup, and we are favourites going into many of the games in etf2l, being tipped by alot of people to win our div, which we are on course to do. The dissapearence of Mike is something which has confused us all, not being online in weeks, and not telling anybody anything, very strange for arguably one of our most active players, we hope he returns soon, but sadly we need to trial a soldier to fill the spot, as myself and john can't be active at the moment. I think with this group of players we have at the moment, we can reach division 3, the potential is huge, and Im sure the current group of players have no intentions of going elsewhere. So back to the wireplay division, we finished the season in the number 1 spot, with played 7, won 7, a perfect season. So well done to everyone, great commitment from all of you, and hopefully this is only the beginning of division titles for us.

Sadly our friends Sanni and Digi have decided to part ways from IDK. We all wish them well in whatever they decide to do in TF2 and thank them for all the time and effort they put into IDK <3

Also we have a massive welcome for a new set of players. Firstly I will mention Kosta, because he didnt get a news post mention b4 :P, a sexy medic with the best german rage in tf2! Next our new soldier, kuma. Kuma hasnt been playing tf2 that long, but he is a great solly with massive potential and knowledge of the community and the game. Last but not least, our new scout ms blu3y, joining us from div3 team fingerprint. Already her and frdz's scout partnership is going very good, and I think we are all excitied to see how awesome they are going to get.

At the moment we are top of our division in etf2l, only losing 2 maps so far, and we are certainly favourites to go straight to div4, and maybe argue div3. So thats all for now, keep up all the good work guys...

So after a very busy last couple of weeks, things are very much looking up for IDK. We welcomed new scout Petu, who quickly formed an awesome duo with fRdz, and you can be sure our scouts are the ones to watch in season 7. Our demoman, lolage, is improving so fast, its awesome to watch, gaining praise from top demoman and is becoming a crucial part of our lineup already. Calling the shots we have NOT-HIM, who has impressed us all, with his amazing sniping kills, soldier multi-frags and his all-round versatility to be able to switch to any class and perform great. Following behind, we have me, and I'm currently loving the way our team is playing, our play style is becoming more smooth. Rarely will you see us panic and crumble, we are becoming a much, much better side. Lets not also forget Mokichi, JvanW and Digiwill, who have all done amazing when stepping into the side, showing experience and calm comms, bringing us more wins. Unfortunatley, our jinx with medics has happened again, and we currently need a new one, but, after an impressive 4 maps on Monday, we think we may have found the perfect guy, keep your eyes peeled

We are currently participating in Wireplay 6v6, and after one game, have the perfect 5.0 points after a classy performance against MelloY, and the team is feeling confident of taking the title in div5, lets keep it rolling.
Also, the provisional divisions for ETF2L have been announced, and as expected, we are in Division 5. We have been performing very well lately against div5 teams, so I see no reason why we can't make it 2 titles this season.
On the side, we have e=sports heaven, which puts us up against much higher skilled opposition, even though we got hammered by div2 teams, we can see where we go wrong, and this can always be a target for us to reach, we definitley have the ability.

On a side note, things are looking good for the IDK fragmovie, as NOT-HIM's editing skills are getting crazy good, so remember to record those frags guys, and also make suggestions for what you would like to see in the movie.
Lastly, a news post congratz to Jvan and his wife on the birth of their beautiful daughter Fay. Enjoy the sleepless nights Jvan
